What is this board made from? Are the magnetic options child-safe?

This dry erase notes board is made from 1/8" white birch with a 3 mm white gloss acrylic writing surface. Each one is laser cut and hand assembled. This product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children. Magnetic versions contain magnets and may also include small parts. Swallowed magnets can cause serious internal injuries, so immediate medical attention should be sought if ingestion is suspected. The CPSC has published a safety warning about small magnet hazards here.

How do I care for and clean my custom dry erase notepad?
