Why 2025 is a Landmark Year for Collectors
Holly PoseyThe world of coin collecting is buzzing — and for good reason. The 2025 penny is taking center stage as a symbol of American history, marking the end of an era for U.S. coinage. At Mommie Pea's Creations, we wanted to honor this "final year of the cent" in a way that's both functional and beautiful. That's why we created the 2025 Penny Time Capsule Coaster — a tribute that captures history and artistry in one unique handmade piece.
What Makes the 2025 Penny Time Capsule Coaster Special?
-
The Coin: A genuine, uncirculated penny from the Philadelphia Mint — the last of its kind.
- The Craft: Hand-assembled in Alabama with Baltic birch and crystal-clear acrylic. Durable, elegant, and built to last.
- The Vision: A double-sided view so you can see every detail of the mintage — the sturdy frame protects the penny while showcasing its beauty from all angles.
Whether you're a seasoned numismatist or someone who loves unique home décor, this coaster is a "moment in history" preserved by hand.
